Courtney Dailey faced such a moment as her community neighbor Jerry stood crying in his yard, his house gutted by a hurricane's flooding. Courtney Dailey is an east Tennessee author who, along with her husband and many others, answered the call to serve when Hurricane Helene blew through her region last year. In addition to getting her own hands dirty, Dailey has been posting Facebook videos of the progress, sharing “God Stories” of how prayer and faith have brought people together to serve dozens of others whose lives were upended by the hurricane. And in an addendum to the podcast, I share how some of the helpers have recently seen their lives upended as well.
